Real Life Story
Appreciating Procrastination
Last year, we decided to do some landscaping in our backyard. We had many overgrown old trees that needed trimming so I took it upon myself to search for some companies who did a good job and were reasonably priced. For some reason, I found myself procrastinating for several weeks and had actually put it out of my mind.
One misty, rainy Sunday morning, our usually quiet neighborhood was not so quiet. My husband eventually looked out the front window and relayed to me that the loud noise was coming from the neighbor's yard across the street.
I looked out and, to my surprise, I saw a tree trimming company hard at work on a Sunday morning in the rain. This seemed unusual, not only because it was Sunday but also because it was raining.
Through this misty rain, I saw written on the front of the truck "Walk up discounts available". Suddenly, I was inspired to put my on my raincoat and walk across the street to learn more. Maybe this was what I had been waiting for!
The workers were busy cutting a tree down so while I was waiting for them to finish, my neighbor walked out. I asked her opinion of them, if they did good work and if their prices were reasonable. She happily reported she'd been using them for years and would highly recommend them.
I decided to ask them to come over and give us a quote. The quote looked good and we even got their 10% "walk-up" discount.
In the end, I was thankful that I had waited until I felt the impulse to act. As a result, I allowed The Universe to conveniently bring the solution to me!

Taking An Action Trip
Our society has raised us to believe that taking action is the best way to success. Action has it's place but not how most people think.
When we are inspired to take action, the action is enjoyable and the outcome is usually what we intended.
Unfortunately, most of us take action before we're inspired, using it as a means to "force" something to happen. This usually backfires for one subtle reason.
When we try to make something happen, we are usually thinking about the fact that it hasn't yet happened! So guess what Law of Attraction brings us? More evidence that it hasn't happened!
This causes the problem to grow larger so then we put even more action into making it happen and... we push it even farther away.
So, what to do?
The trick is to stay focused on what we want, regardless of what the external "evidence" is telling us about its arrival. That is, learn how to desire something without needing it.
Focusing on what we want so that it feels good and then quickly forgetting about it before frustration starts to set in is the quickest way to manifest whatever we want.
Give it a try on something small and believable to you and see what happens. You might be surprised how easy it is to attract that elusive item you've been seeking!
