Focusing on You, Part 1 of 3
The Feel Good List
Have you ever consciously sat for a moment and thought about what makes you happy? Really happy?
If Law of Attraction brings us whatever we're focusing on then wouldn't it make sense to focus as much as possible on things that make us happy?
In case you were wondering, the answer is YES!
In the first part of this 3-part series, we're going to focus on what makes YOU happy. Not your spouse. Not your children. Not your boss. YOU!
The idea is simply to make a list of as many things that either:
1. Have made you happy in the past
2. Are making you happy now
3. Might make you happy in the future
There are no rules except that each item must truly ring your bell.
Go get a piece of paper or start a document on your computer right now and start writing. Title it, "Things that make me Feel Good". Put down whatever flows into your head that makes you smile when you think about it.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
- A beautiful sunset on a warm evening
- Petting your dog/cat/goat/etc
- Silent snowflakes falling to the ground
- A wonderful, passionate relationship
- Playing with babies and children
- Working at a job you love
- Playing or listening to great music
- Singing in the shower
- Sitting in a hot tub with friends and wine
- Writing in your journal
- Reading a great book
- Watching or playing your favorite sport
- Helping a friend
- Painting, drawing, sculpting
- Finishing a great run, ride, workout
- Teaching someone something
- Uplifting a child
Now that you've made your list, how do you feel? Probably better than when you started reading this. Exactly!
You now have another tool to help you move back up the Emotional Scale whenever you slip into some negative thinking.
Keep your list in a handy place and glance at it often. You'll be surprised at how quickly your overall attitude naturally improves.
And before long, good-feeling manifestations that match your improved attitude MUST start showing up in your life. It's Law!
In part two, we'll be focusing on creating another powerful tool by focusing on appreciation.

Real-Life LoA Story
The Job Offer
My sister is becoming fairly practiced at Law of Attraction but like most of us, still gets stuck once in a while.
She's currently in a good job working with positive people. But, her job is very stressful. Part of the stress has been that the work she's doing doesn't make use of her natural talents.
Instead, a large part of her job has her focusing on detail work that she's not great at and doesn't enjoy.
We had a long talk recently and, as we talked about her current situation, she started thinking about the things she really liked about her profession.
After we hung up, she apparently kept thinking about this. She also thought about the guidance and direction her new career coach had given her. As a result, she decided to focus on new, exciting possibilities rather than on existing problems.
Today, she sent me an email telling me that her boss had just come to her, having created the exact dream job that she had been thinking about and offered it to her!
I don't know if she'll take it or not but what an amazing demonstration of turning yourself around and then watching The Universe match your hand.
Good job, sis!
