Headaches
Q: This is a health question. Since beginning to use the LoA, my health has been pretty good. I do however, still get the occasional headache. Sometimes they are quite severe and almost always on just one side of my head. I would love to eliminate headaches from my existence. Any suggestions for how I could go about it?
Thank you in advance,
~C.M. Redford,MI
A: First of all, it's really important to seek medical assistance if you suspect that something might seriously wrong. LoA is the ultimate long-term strategy for maintaining excellent health but it can take quite a while to master the techniques. In the interim, please see your local medical practitioner for a checkup.
That being said, we believe that the body was designed maintain perfect health on its own.
Recall that everything in the Universe is vibrating at different frequencies. Our cells are vibrating as are our thoughts.
Our cells are constantly requesting energy in order to heal themselves and maintain their balance with the rest of the body.
When we're asleep, this healing energy flows freely into the cells. That's why we heal the most when we're asleep or unconscious.
When we're awake, however, we can maintain fairly dissonant thoughts. If done long enough, this dissonant energy can seriously interfere with the cells' ability to receive the healing energy they need. From this, all diseases are eventually born.
The medical profession calls this stress and has pretty well documented its effects and, of course, has every manner of external treatment to reduce those effects. These treatments, however, don't address the root cause which is chronic, dissonant (or negative) thoughts.
Once an illness or condition, has manifested, such as a headache, it becomes more difficult to get rid of. This is because it's hard to not think about it and what we think about, we attract more of.
So, here's a simple yet powerful technique you can use to get relief from pain and eventually heal illnesses:
1. Find a comfortable place to get away from noise and distractions. Sitting is best.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Breath in and out as slowly and deeply as possible while still maintaining your comfort.
4. Focus only on your breathing. If you start to think of something else, gently bring your thoughts back to your breathing.
5. Don't try to heal yourself or quicken the results, just focus and breathe.
In minutes, you should notice a lessening of your pain. Do this regularly over days or weeks and you will notice an improvement in many areas of your health, not just the one that's currently got your attention.
Remember that it's only the chronic, negative thoughts that are interfering with your health. The quicker you get at peace the quicker you will heal!
