It's All About Alignment
A common misperception of Law of Attraction is that our thoughts are actually creating our physical reality. Sort of like, if I just image a new car hard enough then the molecules will spontaneously assemble right in front of my eyes to create that new car.
There's actually some truth to this if you recall the Observer Effect from Quantum Mechanics.
However, a better way to look at LoA is as a giant magnet that attracts things that are vibrating at the same frequency towards each other.
It's sort of like tuning the dial on your radio. There can be dozens of stations broadcasting their signals but the only one you can hear is the one that you have your dial set to. We call this alignment.
So, the trick is to keep your mental "dial" set on what you want and then watch as LoA magically causes you to rendezvous with things, people, places and circumstances that match it!
Real-life LoA Story
Recently, I had decided I wanted to see my Multilevel Marketing business grow so I set a new goal of increasing my business so I could earn $1000 a day. I began to continually repeat to myself "I want to see $1000 a day".
Within a week of starting to say this new thought to myself, I went to do a part-time job where I clean parking lots. As I began to clean the lot, I came across a bank deposit slip that someone had tossed out and it had a deposit quantity of exactly $1000.00 written on it. I thought to myself, "well, I have been asking to see $1000 a day and maybe here's my first sign".
As I continued to clean the lot I came across a discarded Arby's game card where it said "win $1000" by playing this game. (Wow, another $1000 sign from the Universe!) And that wasn't the last sign that I found that day.
As I was taking one last trip around the (now nicely cleaned) parking lot a glint of sunshine reflected off of something on the ground that caught my eye. I went to it and picked up a beautiful diamond earring someone had lost. I had a friend verify it was a real diamond and I am soon going to have it appraised!
In the past two years, I have attended all of the workshops and programs both Suzanne and Kevin teach and I was eager to share this newest story because I am constantly reminded by the Universe that everything begins with our thoughts, so why not use them to improve our lives.
