Come join me for a fun class in the beautiful classroom at Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe. If you've never taken a class their you are in for a real treat!
The bag is a great beginners bag or just an easy breezy bag for those who are experienced bag makers. You have three sizes to choose from and the bag may be made from yardage or Jelly Roll strips.

"We're" still working hard on the studio. (not really me, the guys). The Dale's were here today working on the Powder Room. New gutter's up. Electrical will be finished up soon. Heating/cooling is coming soon....then sheet rock. I think I'm looking forward to that part because then it really starts to feel like it's not far to go. They truly are working magic out there. I love how nothing is to big of an obstacal for these guys.
This would never be happening without the Dale's. So much detail and so many things to think about and they can keep it all straight. Thanks Kelli for loaning your husband and son to me for this project! |
| Quilt Sampler Magazine |
If you read my blog or are a customer of Hollyhill Quilt Shop you probably already know they are one of the featured stores in the upcoming Top Ten Quilt Sampler magazine coming out mid May. I was priveledged to design their quilt for them that is featured in the magazine. And for a little icing on the cake, the Hollyhill quilt that I designed was chosen to be on the cover of the magazine! What an honor. The quilts name is "Summer Sky".
Jan and Brian Hill are a delight to work with and the experience has been great. They are so deserving of this honor. Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe is AMAZING! If you are a quilter and have never been, I think that would actually fit into the category of a sin! If you haven't been there you must go and experience this wonderful shop.
May 8th they are having a "Top Ten" party and that would be a perfect time to check it out. They have a fabulous store and trust me, they throw a fabulous party!
