| New Blog ~ Tidbits from Sweet Treasures |
I'm excited to announce I've launched the blog "Tidbits from Sweet Treasures". I've enjoyed jumping around and visiting blogs. It's a fun way to be inspired and get fresh ideas.
I really want this blog to be an interactive blog where we share thoughts and ideas so I hope you'll join in and visit often. It's a more informal way for me to communicate with you and stay in touch. I've begun the blog with a contest. So click on the blog button above and come for a visit. Leave a comment and join in the contest. Hope to see you soon! |

I've had many students ask me "what's up"? What am I doing? Well, continuing to design. Quilt Market is in Minneapolis this May, so I'm busy working on new designs for the show.
As far as classes I'm not doing a lot right now. By choice. I will be teaching a bag class up at Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe sometime in the next few months. I'll let you know about that. My main focus regarding classes is remodeling a space at my home into a quilt studio where I will be teaching classes. Yep ~ I'll be teaching classes in my own studio! I'm excited. It will be a space specifically designed for classes. My working studio will still be in my home, this will be the classroom studio which is at my home but not in it. Confussed yet? It's just a separate space that will be perfect for holding classes.
I'm so humbled by all of you who have asked and requested I be teaching so you can join me for classes. It's a strong desire of my heart to do that. I love my students and really do get attached and really have been missing you all. I really am working toward that end. OK ~ enough sappiness. :-)
I'll try and have pictures of the process on the blog before too long so you can follow the progress. I've got some great guys working on it, but with full time jobs, weekend work is all they can give me so it's going to take a while to finish but we'll do it. |
