Mike Keneally Band, Bryan Beller band and The Travis Larson Band

October 14th 7:00

The Above photo "Metalocalypse" is a new and popular animated cartoon and in the show is the animated metal band "Dethlok". This unique series is very popular with many and the Bass player "William Murderface" is played by Bryan Beller (shown below w/ Mike Keneally) Bryan and Mike are virtuoso players and will be here dishing out some serious playing for your enjoyment. Mike Keneally has one of the more impressive resumes in the progressive music business. Early recognition came from his stint as a Frank Zappa "stunt guitarist", and a Zappa 1988 tour band member - playing both both guitar and keyboards. Since then he has worked with a succession of high profile musicians, ranging from Steve Vai, through Dweezil Zappa, and most recently, Dethklok.

Bryan Beller has an equally impressive resume and he also writes some great articles for bass player magazine. And most of you already know what kind of killer chops the Travis Larson Band has. TLB will inspire you to be better musicians. Listen....the chance to see this caliber of playing in an intimate setting for $15.00 is a golden opportunity! They will sign autographs you can chat with them etc. You just can't do this anywhere else! Don't wait reserve your spot now! See below for more details.

Music Max Student Concert!

October 15th 2:00

One of the funnest events we have is our Student Concerts! About every 2 month or so we have these and the place is packed! No matter what instrument or style you are into we can teach it and the concert always shows off the talents of our Students and Instructors. It's a great opportunity for Music Max students to perform. We invite you to drop by and support the students for this event. There is NEVER a substitute for private one on one lessons with REAL professional musicians who have toured, recorded and know what it takes to be a player. This is what Music Max is famous for! We have..the Best instructors in the north-state. If you know of someone thinking about taking music lessons.. now's the time to bring them by!

 Seasons Change & Action Changes

Al Mires

Greetings, When the weather changes so does your guitars action! Temperature and humidity changes the way your guitar neck behaves. If you wake up one day soon and feel like your guitar is too difficult to play or the strings are so low it's buzzing. Bring it by for a tune up. It's usually very inexpensive and can get you feeling good about your guitar and even make you play better! No one likes a poor playing instrument that makes you struggle to play things that you know you can play! See ya soon and happy picking!
