This instrumental group hints at Dregg's fusion like sounds while keeping it accessible and rocking! The licks and tones will suck you right in. Endorsed by many great companies like Ernie Ball/ Music Man EV and more. ( So maybe we'll be giving out free swag??)What I also love about TLB is for virtuoso musiciaship they are so cool and willing to share their experience in a question and answer section during the concert.

 Practice Tips:Advanced Coordination
By Marvin Allen

(Marvin Allen one of our esteemed guitar instructors and a guitar legend has taught hundreds of students and is one of the North-states most successful instructors and our great friend)

Welcome to this months article on practice tips. This time we will discuss more advanced coordination exercises that can be done on the guitar or in the air if you choose. These patterns are kind of like the basic ones we did a few months ago that move across the fingerboard and back using index middle, middle ring, ring pinky,or all four fingers. The difference with this months patterns is that they will all include all four fingers. Also instead of calling them index middle ring and pinky, now we call them 123and 4. Now that we have ordered the fingers to be 123and 4 we can move them across the fingerboard in any order such as

1234/1243/1324/1342/1423/1432

2134/2143/2314/2341/2413/2431

3124/3142/3214/3241/3412/3421

4123/4132/4213/4231/4312/4321

If I am doing these on the guitar I usually do each pattern across and back one time each. You could also pick each note more than one time to make your right hand work harder and or use string skipping by doing the pattern on the E then D/A then G/D then B/G then little e string.

You can also do these patterns in the air by touching your fingers to your thumb in the various orders. When doing this with my students i have them do each pattern with the left hand 4 times ,right hand 4 times and both hands together 4 times. You should say the numbers out loud to increase the brain to hand connection. If you have any questions about this subject feel free to email me at <maxmarvin@frontiernet.net

or just visit me at the store if you can catch me between lessons.thanks for reading. MARVIN ALLEN.
