Going nut's

A guitar with tuning problems can often drive you nut's.

Well... sometimes the problem is the nut! The nut is the piece that the strings go over at the top of the neck were fret # 0 would be. This is often made of plastic and is a source of friction. If you hear a high pitch "Ting" sound when tuning.. the nut is probably pinching the string. we have many fixes for this from re-slotting, lubricating or replacing the nut with a better material like bone or graphite. We are happy to help out bring it by and we'll get you back in tune in no time.
