Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy On The Move

Smiling student
Growing boys have filled the narrow hallways and small classrooms of Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy for almost twenty years now, successfully becoming young men who are "men for others." It is time for the Academy to grow as well without losing the small and personal touch that has made us one of the most successful middle schools in Baltimore. In two short years, we'll move to Federal Hill.  A recently vacated parish school in the south Baltimore neighborhood, conveniently located near public transportation and beautiful Riverside Park, offers us spacious classrooms and hallways, a gymnasium, cafeteria and outside recreation space in addition to the park. In short, we are moving into a school with facilities that better reflect our successful educational program.  As we launch a campaign to fund this move we look forward to our students beginning the 2013-14 academic year in our larger, more spacious new school where they will enjoy the same small "family" environment so conducive to teaching and learning that supports our academic success.  As you can see from the photos this is a big move for the Academy. We'll keep you informed as we move forward with this exciting project coinciding with our 20th anniversary.
