Neesha Fall Catalog
Neesha 2012 Cata
The above image is the recent  Neesha  Fashion catalog cover.  I was happy to hear from the client that this was the best one catalog to date (my third catalog for them). I look forward to the spring catalog shoot sometime this winter.  I would like to thank Mark, once again, for the use of The Badlander for the shoot..it wasn't easy bringing in all those trees and lamp posts :)

I can't talk about the Sun Valley conference but I can share this funny experience. I was photographing some of the attendees and after I photographed a couple the man asked me " does anyone ever photograph you? " startled,  I said "no". He responded, " my wife is a pretty good photographer how about she photograph you and I together with your camera?" I reluctantly gave her my camera and she shot a couple of photos. He then turned to me,  and said  "now you have a photo of you and the Governor of Idaho."

The image above is from the YWCA brochure I had been working on. As a photographer I feel fortunate to have worked with such a great team, Full Moon Concepts agency, Steve Robertson,  and graphic designer/artist Laura Blaker.

 True Story:
I  was contacted by Jim Simpson of WWBuilders from Delaware. He and Wendy had seen my work on Photo Shelter
and were starting a niche interior design and construction business in the Northeast. They bought  my architectural photographs to launch their new business website. When it goes live I will put a link on my newsletter.
Here is what Jim said when he got the images:
"Thank you for sending the images The images are all we could hope for and more. Again, excellent work on your part!"

I am excited to announce that I will be working with a new client in the next couple months. The client is  House Design Studio .  I will be working with the talented Nicole,  Leslie and Kate on new images for their website. Our first home with their products will be photographed in August. The home is being featured in the "Parade of Homes."

The New Work gallery contains a body of images from a current project. Take a look and let me know what you think. All images in this gallery are for sale.

Dear Readers,

Summer is flying by and heating up. What better way to satiate that summer sweet tooth than a

marshmallow roast  at    Lolo Creek Campgounds.

The roast was along the cool Lolo creek, the very spot where Lewis and Clark learned to roast marshmallows,  Really!!!

July was a busy month of travel, photo projects and a new client. The first week I traveled to  cover the  Sun Valley Conference; came back to finish the YWCA brochure, acquired a new client and prepared for my book signing and gallery show of image from the book.

News Flash!!!

I will be interviewed this Friday, August 3rd, by Rob Hudson of Montana Today on http://www.keci.com/.

( an affiliate of NBC).

So if you happen to be up at  6:15 am and in Southwest Montana, check it out it is Channel 13 !!! I will post the interview in my next newsletter, in case you forget to set you alarm clock.

That same evening you can find me signing books at Fact and Fiction , downtown from 5:30 to 7,   Some of the portraits from the book will be on display. I will give a brief presentation on " how to get your photography book  published."

I have been honored by being  asked to be on a panel that will award artist grants in Northeast Ohio. I find it a real privilege to be in that position and I get to travel back to my hometown Cleveland, Ohio  for the final judging in October.

Superboy Just One More....

At the campout, one of the brave came out of his tent to exhibit his anti-bear armor. Very Impressive...
