Although most of the catalog was shot inside at the Badlander, we did manage to have additional time to take a couple of the models outside on location. The image above was taken at the historic Florence Hotel in Missoula.

Salish School in Arlee

I had gotten a call from the Department of Education requesting to see images I had taken of the Salish School in Arlee Montana. They are putting together a study on Indian Education and wanted to include some of my images.

I will be working with Morgan Suter of Suter Construction photographing his finished projects around Missoula...stay tuned.

The Vintage Calendar is still in the works. We  recently met with Bruce the owner of Rockin' Rudy's,  and he was very interested in sponsoring a month  and helping launch the calendar.

I realize most of you may not need a book on how to light portraits but if you know of any aspiring portrait photographers please share this information. You can also  preview the book at 50LightingSetups... 

On the commercial front, I completed the fall fashion catalog for Neesha.  I shot 2300 images that day and lots of great fashion.

I usually get a little nervous when the  government calls,  but in this case it was a good call. The Department of Education wanted to purchase some of my images of a photo story I had published on Native Americans in school. 

Future projects will include architectural photographs for Suter Construction in Missoula, a vintage pinup and school photos.
