January was primarily filled with print orders from 2010, one that dated back to
March of 2010. I actual did not have any shoots which was ok since I was recovering from a groin pull ..ouch.

February began with a article about my PinUp business and a week later the local CBS station came to my studio and filmed me shooting a PinUp session.

My first commission came in the second week to shoot a Pin-Up Party. Which is when 3 or more women come to my studio, special rates, and dress up and made  up by my fabulas staff make-up artist Katie Murphy and create Pin-Up magic.
Next I am scouting the Missoula Symphony in rehearsal to shoot an ad for them the following week.

The best compliment was when a bride called me wanted to hire me for her wedding. She booked me on the phone but later  called again and decided to go with another photographer. Then she called me back said " they were going to charge as much as you I would rather hire you since your photos are soooo much better."  So I booked my first wedding of the year.

The month ends with a new client Jessica Kathryn Hinter who designs corsets and needs photos...

I did get a call from my Airstream client, Mintage who wants me to photograph
a new Airstream in March....

Of course there is the BOOK...My goal, 10 case studies by the end of this month.

Then ya never know what or who may call..I will keep you posted....

Dear Readers,
This will be my 22nd newsletter and the shortest month of the year. Just stating the obvious.

January was a bit slow, as expected, but picked up steam toward the end and is continuing this month.  A  good excuse of why this newsletter is coming out in the middle of the month.

This month I have been commissioned by Missoula Symphony Orchestra to shoot an ad. In a addition I will photographing my first PIn-UP Party.
It was bound to happen, I am been asked to photograph corsets for the talented designer Jessica Hinter.
 
I was  featured in the Missoulian Newspaper  and on the local . The link is a fun one so take a look at the interview with yours truly click :
 

in January,  I signed with  a new stock photo agency  in Spain called
 age fotostock.
I will most likely discontinue PhotoShelter in March.
 
Finally, I was booked, unbooked and booked for a wedding.  First of the season. 

And yes I do weddings...with glee.
