Greetings!

Murdo Fraser MSP, Deputy Leader of the Scottish Conservatives, gave an eloquent defence of Margaret Thatcher and what she did for Scotland and the United Kingdom, at a Freedom Association free spirits event on the Scottish Conservative Party Conference Fringe in Perth on Thursday 14 May 2009.

You can see photographs of the event here.

Addressing an enthusiastic audience of nearly fifty at the 24 George Street bar, he led an outstanding list of speakers at the event, including Richard Cook, Phil Gallie, Philip Lardner and Bill Walker.

The Freedom Association is committed to expanding its presence in Scotland, as part of a programme which will shortly see it launch in both Ulster and Wales.

If you would like The Freedom Association to organise an event in your area, or would like to help Philip Lardner, our Scottish spokesman, in his work of speaking up for freedom and for the Union in Scotland, please contact e-mail me or e-mail Philip Lardner himself.

Kind regards,

Simon Richards
