Advancing Education for Sustainability

AGB_CurriculumPaper We are excited to launch the Strategy Paper, "Advancing Education for Sustainability: Teaching the Concepts of Sustainable Building for All Students" this September. This paper is developed in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council, within Second Nature's Capacity Building Initiative, .

This document delves into the why and the how of integrating sustainability issues into the core of students' academic experiences. If you are interested  in committing to this mission, then please download the Recommendations. Power it Green

The American College & University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) has partnered with the Clinton Climate Initiative to offer to all ACUPCC signatories the Energy Efficiency Building Retrofit Program (EEBRP), which can help lower project costs and achieve greater GHG reductions.

The U.S. EPA has created the Green Power Partnership Guide to help institutions procure green power by offering expert advice, technical support, tools and resources.

The U.S. EPA Green Power Partnership is also hosting the Green Power Challenge throughout the 2010-11 academic year for all U.S. colleges, universities and collegiate athletic conferences.
