JOIN US FOR A VIRTUAL DOG RACE!
With the holidays approaching, we wanted to offer our supporters a fun way to help CGL raise some much-needed funds. Now is a great time for our donors to start thinking about their year-end giving and we hope that CGL will be at the top of the list!
To kick off the holiday season, we have chosen three of our wonderful adoptables to help us raise funds in a
"Virtual Rescued Dog Race." Everyone can participate and since the race is virtual, you don't even need to put on your running shoes! It's simple: Check out our competing dogs (Lewis, Corky, and Bandit) in the left column of this newsletter and click on "CHIPIN" to read about them and to make a donation for one of them. All three dogs are available for adoption and waiting for their forever homes. The dog with the most donations in our contest wins the race. Race donations will be accepted until December 1. We'll keep you updated about the race on facebook and we'll list all of our Race Donors in an upcoming newsletter. All CHIPIN donations go directly to the support of our beautiful dogs. Racers, start your paws!
If you are looking for a way to maximize your gift-giving dollars, please consider a donation to CGL. What better way to celebrate the season of love and generosity than with the gift of life for a dog in need?
Pepper
Pepper (formerly Mr. Chips) was adopted by Jim and Peg Laliberte of Nashua, NH.
When Mr. Chips first arrived into our care, he was in a miserable state.
With matted fur, it was hard to find the gorgeous face you see in the photo above. But after a good grooming, this precious little boy found his forever home in NH with loving new parents. Your donations make these transformations possible!
Finn
Finn was adopted by Lauren Shamitz-Crooks of Woburn, MA.
Lauren writes: "Thought I'd send you a couple of photos of Finn and one of his most devoted fans; he is curled up here with Chipmunk the cat who LOVES him. He tolerates her. Hope all is well and many dogs are finding forever homes. Finn continues to be our love!"
Archie
Archie (formerly Davey) was adopted by Carin Glick of Manchester, NH.
Archie was fostered for quite awhile waiting for his new home. It turned out his forever home was right in the neighborhood with Carin and her family.
They'd already adopted Purl from CGL and now Archie has joined in the fun!

Snuggles
Snuggles was adopted by Lee Solesky of Standish, ME.
Here's a photo of Snuggles doing what he does best: snuggling!
Scout
Scout (formerly Julian) on the left was adopted by Joan and Charles Daviet. They write: "Scout was the perfect match for Katie and for us. They have a blast together with lots of yard play, long walks and house play time with both now sleeping in our bed. Scout is the sweetest little guy. He's so funny sometimes.
Here are some pics from Katie (R) and Scout's (L) Maine vacation. Thanks again for rescuing our boy, Scout, so he could be part of our family. We really love him."
Scout apparently had a great time hiking in Acadia, ME with his best friends. He certainly looks like a happy camper!
Shiloh
Shiloh was adopted by Bronwyn Umphrey of Maine.
Shiloh loves hiking with the family in the mountains of Mount Desert Island, ME
