Perhaps there is a positive spin for residents of California, but it isn't easy to find it.

Chamber Ribbon cuttings are a great way to connect with other Santa Cruzans and support local organizations getting a start or new beginning right here in Santa Cruz County.

Hwy 1- Soquel/Morrissey Project Update
Construction is continuing on the Highway 1 Soquel/Morrissey Auxiliary Lanes Project. La Fonda Bridge demolition is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 6th and continue on and off until August 14th. The highway will be closed at night during the demolition and traffic will detour onto Morrissey or Soquel. The Bridge will then be closed for 6-8 months. The Regional Transportation Commission has information for school families and updates on other local projects on their website. Read more»
