Hwy 1- Soquel/Morrissey Project Update
Construction is continuing on the Highway 1 Soquel/Morrissey Auxiliary Lanes Project. La Fonda Bridge demolition is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 6th and continue on and off until August 14th. The highway will be closed at night during the demolition and traffic will detour onto Morrissey or Soquel. The Bridge will then be closed for 6-8 months. The Regional Transportation Commission has information for school families and updates on other local projects on their website.
