First Group Visit a Success for Community Health Centers, Inc.

Group visits are a great way to motivate both providers and patients. The Community Health Centers, Inc. of Salt Lake conducted their first group visit at their Central City (CHC) site this past November. Twenty-one patients attended two, two-hour long sessions. CHC staff was motivated to hold group classes to allow more patient access to services, due to the growing number of those with diabetes. The staff was able to implement classes after the 2nd Beacon Learning Session presentation by Carole Rasmussen, FNP, Exodus Beacon Clinic. FULL ARTICLE>>>
