Sharing and Learning for Better Health
The National Quality Strategy has a bold triple aim - better care, better overall health and lowered costs for healthcare through quality improvement.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has aligned with this aim as it set goals for the Medicare Quality Improvement Program. Some of the biggest differences between today's Program and that of the past are that the patient is at the center of care and all healthcare providers interested in improving the care they provide to their patients are welcome and will be part of an "all-teach - all learn" environment.
