How the Switch to Electronic Medical Records Will Help You
"Having direct access to complete medical records will help patients better understand their own medical needs, as well as the needs of those they care for. As patients become stewards of their own medical information, they'll become more engaged in their own healthcare."

Provider Spotlight
The Coalville Health Center is a very proactive user of Electronic Health Records. This was evident from the very first day that HealthInsight met with them in April of 2010. Dr. Wain Allen is well versed and knowledgeable of the objectives of the ONC. His practice is unique in that they are running their EHR on a MAC system. They also participate in the Beacon project with HealthInsight in Summit County.
Dr. Allen is very savvy in the value of Health Information Technology. His hands-on approach to the process and management of the practice are very helpful in obtaining their goals. They are currently in their 90 day attestation period for Meaningful Use and will be attesting online soon. HealthInsight appreciates the efforts that Dr. Allen and his staff have taken to stay current with the HIT/EHR market. |
