Welcome to the IC3 Beacon Community and Meaningful Use bi-weekly newsletter. You are a valued participant in the HealthInsight Regional Extension Center (REC) and Beacon programs. Registration Now Open for Next Month's Beacon Learning Session

As part of the Beacon project, we would like to apprise you of other healthcare providers and clinics you will have access to through the CHIE. Rather than logging into three different systems, you can now go to one! Please refer to the CHIE countdown at mychie.org/community to see how you can reduce logins. Bookmark this page and return often to see the new connections!
The four major Utah health systems, several large clinics, rural hospitals and many independent practices are joining the CHIE.

Updated Registration and Payment Numbers
As of August 31, 2011, more than 90,000 providers have registered for the EHR Incentive Programs, and more than $652 million has been received in incentive payments for both the Medicare and Medicaid programs. If you have not already done so, take a look at CMS' Educational Materials page on the EHR website to find helpful information about eligibility, registration, meaningful use, and attestation. |
