Wednesday Night Supper Reservations |

On Wednesday, September 28th, we will have a special Wednesday night supper! We will join together with area churches and community members for a community meal on the Isle of Hope UMC lawn! So bring your picnic blanket or chairs and come enjoy fellowship, a meal provided by area churches, and a time of music with the St. Thomas Screaming Hamsters and the Hope Band.
The menu is salad, spaghetti casserole, dessert and bread. Food will be provided by the churches. No need to bring a dish, but remember to bring your picnic blankets or chairs!
The cost is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids (3 and under free). Proceeds from the supper will support missions outreach.
Please make your reservations by Monday the 26th at noon.

United Methodist Men's Breakfast |
The United Methodist Men will meet for breakfast on Tuesday, September 27th, at 7:00AM. The speaker will be Lynn Roesler, our church member, who will talk about her experiences living and working in the Middle East. All men of the church are invited. |
Children's Choirs for ages 4 through grade 5 have begun meeting on Wednesdays at 5:15PM before church supper at 6:00PM. If your child would like to participate, it's not too late. Just come to the church and follow the signs. For more information, visit the church website at www.iohumc.com, or call Jan Davenport at 912-355-6280.
The H.O.P.E. Youth Choir (grades 6-12) began rehearsals last Sunday. The Sunday youth schedule has been changed so that the H.O.P.E. Choir will rehearse 4:30-5:30PM in the Choir Room, followed by dinner and youth program time. We plan to be more involved in worship this year, including Anchor Worship, and also hope to expand into areas of outreach ministry.
The Men's Chorus will begin another series of rehearsals on Sunday, October 2nd, at 7PM. We plan to sing in worship on October 30, All Saints Sunday. This is a great way to enjoy the inspiring music and great fellowship of a choir with only a short-term commitment. ALL men are welcome!

5th Annual Ashlee Kraft Memorial Golf Tournament |
Please join us as we raise funds for youth mission trips on Monday, October 3rd at the Savannah Golf Club. Lunch begins at noon with a shotgun start at 1:00PM. It is amazing to see so many of our youth follow in Ashlee's footsteps by serving the least of these. By supporting the golf tournament as a player, hole or cart sponsor, you will help send a youth into the mission field.
