Wednesday Night Supper Reservations |
|
 Join us Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in the Fellowship Hall for our first Fall Supper. Dinner begins at 6:00PM. Reservations must be made each week by Noon on Monday. Take-out orders are now offered.
Adults: $6.00, Children 8 & under: $4.00

 Registration for Children's Choirs (ages 4 - 5th grade) continues this Sunday, September 11th, at a table by the Choir Room. You can also register HERE and return the form to the church office. The choirs will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, September 14th, the day of our first Wednesday Night Supper. For more specific information, visit the church website at www.iohumc.com, or call Jan Davenport at 912-355-6280.
 Other music groups also resume in September, including Handbells (Sept. 11), Ladies' Chorus (Sept. 13), and H.O.P.E. Youth Choir (Sept. 18). The Sunday youth schedule has been changed so that the H.O.P.E. Choir (grades 6-12) will rehearse 4:30-5:30pm. 5th Annual Ashlee Kraft Memorial Golf Tournament |
|
 Please join us as we raise funds for youth mission trips on Monday, October 3rd at the Savannah Golf Club. Lunch begins at noon with a shotgun start at 1:00PM. The golf tournament helps to offset expenses that are not covered by trip registration fees for our youth mission trips. By supporting the golf tournament as a player, hole or cart sponsor, you will help send a youth into the mission field. Can you think of a better place for them (or us) to be?

 The Missions Outreach Department is having a Book Fair to support Heifer International on Make a Difference Day and donate several books to Isle of Hope Elementary School. We are in need of gently used adult and children's books. Donated books can be dropped off in the box designated "Book Fair" in the hall outside the church office. Thank you in advance for supporting this program that empowers "struggling families to move forward to self reliance."

 Acolyte training and retraining will be held Sunday, September 11th from 3:00 - 4:30 pm in the sanctuary. This is open to all 3rd through 5th grade children who attend the traditional services in the sanctuary. Parents are required to attend along with their child. This is a wonderful way to introduce your child to serving in the worship ministry. We hope to see you all there!

 Please join us Monday, September 12th from 9:00-10:30AM in the Parlor for fellowship, devotion, and explanation of our church's mission by Julie Vann, Director of Missions Outreach.
Please contact Kim Kraft, Director of Nursery Ministry, at 912-355-8527 if you are need of childcare. We are mostly mothers of children ages newborn to 18. We meet the second Monday of every month.
Lunch Bunch Circle
Lunch Bunch Circle will meet on Wednesday, September 14th in the New Hope Classroom. Come to socialize at 12:00PM and the meeting will begin promptly at 12:30PM. All are welcome!

 September Lunch & Learn: Health Presentation
Pat Morris of Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Institute will present ways for Seniors to age in a healthy way and avoid devastation from injury or preventable condition.
