Missions & Outreach
Ashlee Kraft Memorial Golf Tournament
Many thanks go to Paul Childers, Joe Brettschneider, Trey Smith and Chris Trice for their leadership in the 4th Annual Ashlee Kraft Memorial Golf Tournament. It was a beautiful day to remember Ashlee and celebrate her life and legacy. In the past 3 years, we have raised $20,000 for youth mission trips through the Ashlee Kraft Memorial Golf Tournament. This was another successful tournament with donations still coming in. We are grateful for all of the golfers, hole sponsors, golf cart sponsors, donors and volunteers who made this year's tournament such a success. To God be the glory!
Interfaith Hospitality Network
Isle of Hope UMC will host Interfaith Hospitality Network families in the Green House on October 24-31. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, prepare and/or serve meals, play with the children, serve as evening and overnight hosts, and clean-up. This is a great way for families to volunteer together! Call Felicia McManamy at 691-1744 to volunteer or sign up in the church hallway this Sunday.

Music Ministries
The Men's Chorus has begun another series of rehearsals on Sundays at 7PM. We plan to sing in worship on October 31, All Saints Sunday. This is a great way to enjoy the inspiring music and great fellowship of a choir with only a short-term commitment. ALL men are welcome and encouraged to join us!
The Kids of the Kingdom 1 and 2 Choirs (1st-5th grades) will sing the Introit at both traditional worship services on Oct. 24th. The children should gather that morning at 8:30am in the 5th grade classroom. Parents with questions please call Jan Davenport at 355-6280.
Arts from the Island is now established as the new music and arts outreach ministry of Isle of Hope UMC! At our prayer meeting on October 3rd, a number of ideas were enthusiastically shared to enable our congregation to bless those in the community by serving and sharing the talents God gives us. Please let us know if you would like to be involved in this ministry, or of any ideas you might have. We especially encourage those who might provide leadership!

For Youth & College
Isle of Hope United Methodist Church - This message is for you! We have an upcoming event for our high school students that I would love for everyone to be involved in! On Nov. 5th-6th, our youth will be taking part in an event entitled "Insomnia." The goal of this event is for our students to give up the opportunity of a good nights rest so that they can understand and appreciate all that God has blessed them with. We will also be raising money to provide beds for orphans in Uganda. Each student has been asked to raise $50. This event is for high school, but I would love if our whole church could come together and give towards this cause. And here's the best part - you do not have to give a large amount. You can contribute $1, $5, $10; however much you feel God is calling you to give. Donations will be able to be given from now until Nov. 5th, so let's come together and give for a good cause!
