Dear , Thank you Isle of Hope United Methodist Church!!!!! Thanks for being such a great congregation. You have sought to be the kind of church that supports the call of Jesus Christ to make disciples. You have been open to so many ways to reach people with the Gospel. I have enjoyed working with so many leaders and participants in many areas of ministry including: Sparklers' Bible Study, Adult Ministry Council, Sanctuary and Anchor worship services, Children's Sermons, Confirmation Tour of Churches, Disciple Bible Studies, Jammin' July Classes, Evangelism, Getting Connected Classes and Lunches, Prayer Chain, Ladies Chorus, United Methodist Men, Acolytes and their Coordinators, Blood Drives, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Preschool Chapel, and many more. Beth and I cannot thank you enough for the Adult Ministry Sponsored Lunch. Your cards, gifts, kind words, and fellowship meant so much to us. A special thank you from the Preschool touched my heart. It reflects what I hope to have communicated about faith and discipleship through puppets and many other aspects of my ministry at Isle of Hope. Let me share with you what Graham Solona wrote: Preschool is a great place To learn, sing, and play. When Dr. Parr comes in for Chapel An awesome lesson is on its way. Sammy the Snake sometimes doesn't remember A friend we should not betray. Dr. Parr reminds this sly fellow That it's God we must obey. Fast Freddie is in a big hurry; He makes a cool display. Slowdown, Freddie, take a breath. When he gets the point, HOORAY! Buford doesn't see rainbows When a cloud has a little gray. He wants to be an eagle, But, he is special in a BUZZARDY way! Coco will not always share, We get that! We want you to stay. But, the people in Columbus need you, now, And Jesus' LOVE that you'll convey. So take care of Fiona- She's a baby, don't let her fray. Give Rib and Bit plenty of flies, Then, they will listen when you say, "Hey!" No BONES about it, in your hands, Charlie will be okay. Maybe you're showing us that in the Potter's Hands, He is molding us like clay. Thank you and your friends for showing His Love. We will pray for you every day! Remember the lessons that you taught us- Trust in Jesus; He is the WAY. Thanks again and take care! In God's Service, Frank Parr |

The decorations, the food, the warm smiles and the loving hugs made it a memorable day. Thank you to all the circles for their kind words and gifts, the wonderful songs and skits and the beautiful basket of notes and cards. The Chip Goldsmith painting will have a special place in our new home and will always remind us of our time on beautiful Isle of Hope and you. Our door is always open, so please come visit us. I was reminded once that without tears, the heart would have no rainbows...I've had a lot of rainbows over the past few weeks...thank you for my rainbows of friendship and love. I love you all. June
