Dear ,

WALKING WITH THE RISEN CHRIST / RESURRECTION APPEARANCES
During the Season of Lent we shared a series of messages entitled "A Journey To The Cross" as we worshiped together. On Easter Sunday, we celebrated the Resurrection  of Jesus. In the afterglow of Easter we begin another series of messages entitled "Walking With the Risen Christ / Resurrection Appearances". In this series, leading up to Pentecost, we will study together several of the appearances of Jesus following His resurrection. I hope you will prepare for these each week by reading the appropriate scriptures and thinking about the events which unfold. Pray for these services and the speakers who will bring the messages each Sunday. Here are the scriptures, sermon topics, and the speakers for each service:

Thanks for a great week! Well actually it was more than a week. I mean the period leading up to Easter. During the Lenten Season, we were on a "Journey to the Cross". Several very meaningful crosses were prepared for us by Dean Hines and painted by Herb Windom. Sermons were preached, using each of the crosses as a focal point throughout the Lenten Season. Then beginning with Pretzel Saturday; The Palm Sunday Cantata "The Wonder of the Cross"; the Seder Meal; The Good Friday Service; Stations of the Cross; and four Worship Services on Easter Sunday, we shared a great week! I want to thank all those who planned, carried out, and attended these events, enabling us to have a blessed Lenten/Easter Season. I hope it was as meaningful for each of you as it was for me.

Uprising-A Revolution of the soul
It seems like anyone you talk to these days desires a change. They wish they looked different, had a different job, or were better at this or that. What you probably discovered is that you can change your appearance, your friends, your job...but you can't change your character. At least not on your own.
