The School of Business at The College of New Jersey welcomes area business professionals to a Sustainability Forum to be held on January 26, 2011 at Chauncey Conference Center in Princeton. The Forum brings together public and private sector speakers who will share information and experiences on sustainability applications ranging from alternative energy and recycling to manufacturing operations and branding.
General sessions will include discussions on land use, public sector support for sustainability in the private sector, and financing and profiting from sustainability. Breakout sessions will cover topics for property owners, operations managers, and professionals involved in branding and marketing, human resources, and development, among other areas.
The luncheon keynote speaker will be Susan Voigt, Vice President for Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability at Bristol-Myers Squibb, who will discuss the firm's forward-looking view after completing its first ten-year sustainability plan. Speakers from the New Jersey Lieutenant Governor's Office, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, New Jersey Transit, and the Municipal Land Use Center at the College of New Jersey will join experts from PricewaterhouseCoopers, the U.S. Green Building Council, TerraCycle, Nexus Properties, the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, and others, for a comprehensive look at sustainability.
The forum is open to the public and particularly relevant to business men and women considering how one or more sustainability issues will impact their company.
The Small Business Development Center is a proud partner in presenting this event hosted by The School of Business.
