SCORE is a nationwide organization of 365 chapters and 13,000 volunteers. Every chapter provides counseling/mentoring to individuals considering starting a business, small businesses in formation and/or existing small businesses seeking advice as to how to increase sales, overcome business based problems, etc. How can we help your business?

Our new web site is the result of the efforts and ideas of most of the chapter's members and has been completely revised with the needs of small business owners, potential SCORE volunteers and current score mentors in mind. Learn more about the resources now available!

The following comments are from two recent Bridgeport SCORE clients. Each represents a set of opportunities for client and mentors to work together to create and build a successful venture. Read these inspirational stories!

Statement of Editorial Purpose
The seven Connecticut SCORE Chapters have combined their efforts to produce this bi-monthly e-Newsletter as a service to our clients and the larger small business community. Its purpose and content are guided by three objectives: To Guide, To Teach, To Inspire. We recognize that those objectives can ultimately only be achieved in personal interaction - Counseling -  person to person. We encourage you to actively continue the counselor / mentoring process, and to encourage others who may be just starting in business to contact one of the Chapters. We would also encourage you to participate either by comment on content or by submitting material for inclusion.
