 ProAves discovery voted #1 new species of 2010 by TIME
Time Magazine published the Top 10 new species discovered in 2010 and voted our "Mr. Burns Beaked Toad" as the #1 new species for 2010. This tiny toad of the genus Rhinella was discovered during an expedition lead by ProAves together with CI and GWC in "Las Tangaras" area of the Chocó and compared to "the nefarious villain Mr. Burns from the Simpsons television series".
