Endangered Baudo Oropendola discovered in Antioquia
In an expedition with the support of ABC, ProAves has discovered 70-80
individuals of the Endangered Baudo Oropendola (Psarocolius cassini) which represents a major range extension. Videos and photos are presented of this little known species, previously only known from the Pacific coast.

Important new population for the Todd's Parakeet
An exploration by ProAves in Cesar Department has discovered an important new population of Todd's Parakeet (Pyrrhura caeruleiceps) that is considered to be Critically Endangered. This represents only the third extant population of the species and only surviving population in the Serran�a del Perij�.

La Brea Poison Frog rediscovered, but in critical condition
In the Choc� lowland rainforests of Cauca Department, a ProAves expedition has rediscovered the amazing La Brea Poison Frog (Oophaga occultator) since it was first described in 1976. Despite its "Data Deficient" IUCN status, its habitat is being rapidly destroyed and completely unprotected.
