 Environmental Victory for Colombia
In 1998, the wonderful Yellow-eared Parrot was almost extinct. After 11 years of sustained conservation efforts by ProAves, Fundación Loro Parque, CI and ABC the Yellow-eared Parrot has recovered to over 1000 individuals - a triumphant success.  Second year of the Golden-winged Warbler project
In order to produce a comprehensive non-breeding conservation plan for the Golden-winged Warbler, field surveys were undertaken for the second consecutive year. ProAves conducted explorations in area with the highest probability of occurrence of the species, according to predictive distribution models.
