Over 1000 bobbies banded on Isla Malpelo After 263 seabirds, mainly Nazca Booby Sula granti, were banded during an expedition to Malpelo Island with Fundación Malpelo. A total of 1,198 seabirds have now been banded on the island that is a critically important seabird nesting colony in the Pacific Ocean.
