Ranita Dorada Amphibian Reserve ProAves World's first Amphibian Reserve launched
2008 is "The year of the frog" and ProAves is proud to launch the world's first amphibian reserve, the Ranita Dorada Amphibian Reserve, to protect a unique forest for amphibians, including the Little Golden Poison Frog, in the Central Cordillera. Read more.

A previously overlooked subspecies of Ruddy Foliage-gleaner has been proven to be a distinctive species - the Santa Marta Foliage-gleaner - which is endemic to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and found in the El Dorado Bird Reserve. Read more.
