A smorgasbord of eco-apps
When I first saw the title of this article I thought they would be showing me bad apps, but it's just the opposite. I need to get caught up on the latest idioms. Apparently, sick is the new good. That's sick!

Power from the people
Thanks to good friend and subscriber, Neven Soric, for this story from England, where they have come up with a fun and clever idea to use people power to make electricity. And be sure to watch the video, if for no other reason than Georgie Delaney's delicious accent.

I like this idea
Near Disneyland Paris, they're using the waste heat from a data center to heat six million square feet of office space through a district-heating system. Here's the story.

Nano nano!
Thanks to subscriber (and another good friend!), Mark Eatherton for sharing this article about another breakthrough in the amazing world of nanotechnology. This stuff just makes my mind swim.

Speaking of which
Here's yet another breakthrough from the brains at (where else?) MIT. Solar PV made totally from carbon nanotubes. This sure is getting interesting.

But wait; there's more!
(I love Gizmag.) Not to be intimidated by MIT (unlike moi), the brains at North Carolina State have come up with this. Doesn't all of this make you feel better about things? Now I hope someone other than the Chinese actually makes this stuff.

A great DVD
Larry Weingarten, who knows more about what goes wrong with water heaters than anyone I have ever met, has a new DVD that is, well, spectacular. Get one and see for yourself. And if you don't agree, I'll give you your money back. You can't lose.

Let's get together
Here's where Marianne and I will be this summer when we're not sitting on the beach or in some tiki bar. Join us!
