mooreBut it sure has to do with mathematics. Ever wonder why we use X as the unknown? Here's the answer. And I know, I know; I have way too much time on my hands. 
Ancient concept, new product
nanogeneratorI was fascinated by this article about nanogenerators. Use your imagination and you'll see all the possibilities. And my favorite part was that they made the nanotubes from zinc oxide. We would be lost without zinc oxide. Here's a short video that makes that point very welll. 
How about this robot?
robot inspects turbinesIt can climb a wind turbine and do an inspection. I'm amazed that they came up with something like this so quickly. Isn't technology grand?
