Efficiency and the military
efficiencyI think I told you about those insulated tents our military was trying a while ago. This article tells the rest of the story, as well as what else is going on in the military to save energy. Here, the main concern is saving the lives of the people who drive those fuel trucks. So much to consider.

A new sort of robbery
And a very scary one. Check out this story from the U.K., where they bill for gas in a way that's different from what you're used to if you live in the U.S.A. Some people are just plain nuts.

Solar district heating
Bradstrup district heatingAnd it's in the U.S.! Here's a brief story to give you an idea of what's going on in the Twin Cities. It's a first for America, and I'd love to see more of this. We do have a ways to go before we catch up with what's going on in Denmark, however.

The Wall logoSo many people stop by the Wall at HeatingHelp.com each day that sooner or later you're going to be delighted. Here's an example of that.
I love Paris in the springtime
Paris at nightEspecially now that they've decided to do this. This follows on the heels of them collecting the body heat from the folks passing through the Paris Metro and using it to heat some buildings. Neat stuff!
Nothing to do with heating
GermanyBut everything to do with German engineering and, as my buddy, John Barba would say, testicular fortitude. Thanks to my other buddy (and subscriber), Bob Boltz, for sharing this one with us.

Hug your kids.
