 Check out this article and be sure to watch the time-lapse video of this 15-story building going up in China in just two days. And here I was getting all excited about the Empire State Building rebuilding all of their 6,500 windows this past summer. Oh, well.

Mandatory Marburg
 Solar panels, that is, and Marburg is in Germany. Check out this story, and then try to imagine the government of any American town of 80,000 people passing legislation such as this. Why, we'd vote those bums out in a heartbeat!

Government geo
 Denver, Colorado residents are getting that enormous IKEA store, which will cool and heat itself geothermally, and now the Capital building is following suit by drilling 900-foot wells in to the aquifer. Here's the story. Geothermal is here to stay and I think it's going to play a large part in the future of hydronic heating.
