Okay, take a deep breath, make sure you're sitting down and then check out this story. I'm glad he survived, but I do think that some things are best left to professionals.

Pennsylvania Turnpike makes history

Again, I mean (after all, this is America's first highway). The New Stanton rest area always has a gazillion truckers taking a break for the day, each with his motor running. But not anymore. Now each trucker can plug in for heat, cooling, electricity and even the Internet. Here's the story.
Meet me in St. Louie, Louie

Or perhaps in Shanghi. That's the site of this summer's spectacular World's Fair. I'm staying away because I don't like long lines (and this is the world headquarters of long lines), but I love to read about what they're doing over there. Here's a link to the article. Check out what Hamburg is showing.
Solar-powered air-conditioning
That's what they'll be using at one of the world's highest airfields. Lots of other interesting green things going on with this project. Check it out here.

How 'bout this one? Hey, now you can teach your dogs and cats to be green. I also found this video from a consumer who tried it, so it looks like the claims are true.

toxic school
I know Australians are tough, but is this any way to raise kids? If your kids had to take classes in a school with an unvented heater, I'll bet you'd be screaming. I know I would. Wacky.
Hello Kitty

This has nothing to do with heating, other than the guy probably wanting to sit in a hot tub after what happened to him here. It's good to be the Cat of the Week.

Hug your kids.
