Shrinking homes
Homes are getting smaller. According to this article, "The top priorities are price, energy efficiency, home organization and comfort." You can do something about energy efficiency and comfort, right? Go get 'em!

It's a gas
hydrogen village
Hydrogen, that is. Here's an interesting experimental village for you. It's in Denmark where they seem willing to try anything and everything. Convert the wind to hydrogen and use the hydrogen to run a bunch of fuel cells. How much can that cost? Well, it's an experiment.
Doctor, Doctor, give me the news!
And why so quick to blame the heating system? This is a good one.
When microbubbles are a good thing
microbubbles
The good manufacturers of the hydronics industry offer a number of microbubble reabsorbers to take troublesome air bubbles out of flowing water so that radiators heat as they should, but now we have a group of English scientists who are using microbubbles to make better biofuels. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. Check it out here.

Eco-bling!
solar panel
A delightful new word to come from our friends in England as they describe this situation. Stick that in your personal turbine!
Yet another use for Google Earth
Besides finding your way around the world, visiting places you may never get to go, familiarizing yourself with an area before visiting, you can now also use Google Earth to scope out the location of solar panels before your next caper. Check it out here.
Green shelters
green shelter
This is a pretty good idea. Gets folks in shape while making some electricity, and certainly not your average shelter.

Oil Heat Cares
I'm going to be doing a special Dead Men's Steam Night School in the Bronx, NY, where there is plenty of steam heat. All the money from this one goes to Oil Heat Cares. We have room for just 50 fun-loving people, though, so get your ticket now and I'll see you on April 15.

Hug your kids.

Dan
