The weather has been playing with my brain in recent days. One day I'm thinking of snow and the next it is almost 90 degrees, sun shining, and I'm contemplating opening up the Texas Pool for a day just so I can reconnect with everyone. The hours have been full post swim season with National Night Out, and a co-sponsored Dallas North Estates Halloween Block Party, with Texas football, the Nutcracker, school, work and family events for us all. Yet tucked away in my heart somewhere I am always at the Texas Pool, splashed down on a lounger, shades on, summertime sounds all around me, planning the next Texas Pool special event. As we celebrate this Holiday Season let's give thanks for the many blessings in our lives, for friends and family, for our great State of Texas, for our Texas Pool. As the winds of time toss the days from our lives, it will be the memories of hours spent together at the Texas Pool celebrating life with neighbors, our community, our children, and each other that sustain us through cold, rainy days into the warm sunshine of tomorrow's light.
