"Of nearly 200 entries nationwide, we had 4 entries that made it beyond 2nd round judging to the top 19, the most of any school in the nation!!!" said Julie Myers, Program Director. "I am very pleased with how well our students performed in this industry competition.  Puts us in a nice spot for our re-accreditation and site visit next year!"

Submitted by T.C. Knutson, Campus Corps Leader

Super Bowl XLVI ("46" if anyone was wondering) was a fantastic game of back and forth goal-to-goal, tundra thundering. It was a game of heroes battling it out down to the last few minutes; I don't know about you, but it gave me shivers!

"The Souper Bowl Food Drive," sponsored by The Learning Center, Campus Corps, and The EAT-IN Food Pantry, was no exception.  On the last poster update Thursday, the Patriot fans were leading the Giants by 23.5 pound.  On a miraculous fourth quarter Friday, the Giant fans were able to pull off a win by donating another 82.5 pounds of food compared to a Patriot drive of 48 pounds, giving the Giant fans a 143.5 - 132.5 lbs. victory over Patriot fans.

Even though Super Bowl XLVI and our own "Souper Bowl" contests were close and exciting, the real winner was our EAT-IN Food Pantry, raising  276 pounds of food.   Thanks to everyone that participated. I know our fellow students appreciate the support.
