Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The Montana University System (MUS) is seeking input from the public about the new names of Montana's five Colleges of Technology, including MSU-Great Falls. Through the College!NOW initiative funded through the Lumina Foundation, MUS will be changing the names and brands of Montana's Colleges of Technology. The Board of Regents will make a decision at their March 1-2 meeting in Dillon on the new names.
The Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education is currently accepting input on the new names that will be used to identify each of the current Colleges of Technology. The new naming framework will include elements descriptive of mission, place, and university affiliation.
Members of the public can complete an on-line survey which can be accessed at:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TXLCPMF
All responses in this survey will be collected anonymously and confidentially. Any information provided in this survey will be used for research purposes only. This survey should only take you about 5 minutes to complete and will be open until February 15.
The survey will ask for your ideas about a "place" identifier and new name for MSU-Great Falls and will also ask some demographic questions (age, education level, etc.). Please note that all questions marked with an asterisk (*) are required before you can navigate away from that survey page.
Thank you for your assistance with this important effort and thank you for your continued support. Please contact me if you have any additional questions or comments.
