| Bookstore Prepares A Thanksgiving Feast
The COTtage Bookstore & Café will be serving a special Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the economical price of just $3.99 a plate; just right for a starving college-student's budget! The complete meal will consist of fresh baked turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, a choice of vegetable or a side salad, and a regular size fountain drink.
"We are doing this for the students who can't make it home for the holiday," said Courtney Brooks, Manager of the newly-designed café area. "And we're trying to keep the price reasonable for the students who can't afford a lot at this time." But the plentiful feast is available to faculty and staff as well. They are encouraging everyone to come and join them.
They are planning for a full day and hope to be busy serving it up starting at 10 am until it's gone. Six turkeys are being prepared for Tuesday's spread, along with generous portions of all of the accompanying entrees. Their full regular menu will also be available for those who wish to have other meal choices.
The Bookstore staff is hoping for a busy day! Cook Sandy invites everyone to "be there, or be square!" |

October 2011 Great Folks Recipients
The Great Folks recipients for October are Keely Hall and Marie Cherry. Keely is recognized for fostering community connections that allowed for one of the local sites to open up one more clinical slot for our Surgical Technology Program. Marie researched and provided historical and purchasing data for IT. It was a time-consuming process and her efforts are really appreciated!
Remember, Great Folks forms are available in Human Resources or on the intranet under Human Resources forms.

Campus Corps Corner
Talk about an amazing week. I don't think there are any people in the world that have the heart of a true Griz or Cat fan. First, I want to thank everyone that participated in "Can the Cats/Can the Griz." Your contributions to EAT-IN will not go unnoticed on our campus.
And now for the results!
The Griz were constant all week long, never letting their guard down. Friday, the Griz took in 66.5 lbs to bring their week total to 217 lbs! They showed a lot of heart and determination, but was it enough?
The Cats moved with grace and stamina unmatched by any team in the league. They saw their prey and took them down while they could, earning 144 lbs of food to bring their week total to 301 lbs!
That's right fans, the Cats Canned the Griz by 84 lbs., making this year's "Can the Cats/Can the Griz" winners the Montana State University Bobcats!!!!!!!!
Once again, thank you to everyone that made this event possible. I really appreciate the competitiveness and good sportsmanship that everyone has shown, and I hope the "Can the Cats/Can the Griz" contest will not end here.
Cheers,
T.C.
