Dedication of MSU - Great Falls
Simulated Hospital |
|
Greetings!
You are cordially invited to join the students, faculty, staff, and friends of MSU - Great Falls on Tuesday, November 29 to dedicate the new Simulated Hospital.
The event will begin with a Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at 4:00 pm sharp in the Atrium at the north entrance followed by an open house in the Simulated Hospital.
The facility offers 10,000 square feet of patient care environments. It includes replications of emergency, surgical, intensive care, radiological, and examination areas at medical facilities in Great Falls to prepare and educate students in an extremely realistic manner. There will be demonstrations in various areas of the Simulated Hospital to allow you to see first-hand how this facility will be used by faculty and students.
Construction was made possible by our local legislative delegation's support of a $1.6 million appropriation in the 61st Legislative Session. In addition, much of the equipment has been donated by health care facilities in Great Falls. Without the generosity of our community and the support of our legislators, the Simulated Hospital would not have been built.
If you have questions or would like further information, please call Pam Parsons at 771-4314 or email pparsons@msugf.edu.
We look forward to seeing you there!
