  Campus Corps Corner

MSU-Great Falls' Campus Corps met with other Campus Corps members throughout the state in Billings this weekend at Montana Campus Compact's annual BEC (Building Engaged Citizens) Conference. The conference was focused on engaging tribal communities in service, and members not only learned a lot of skills centered around facilitating that engagement but found ways of transferring those skills to fit their local communities. Members also tackled "Big Picture" problems in our nation, brainstorming ideas from engaging Veterans to tackling healthcare and environment issues. Not only was BEC an affective learning tool, but it was great to network with neighboring Campus Corps groups to learn about all the good work they are doing for our state.

Our own Campus Corps members will be using their new skills in Great Falls soon, so keep an eye out for upcoming Campus Corps events!

To get involved, contact T.C. Knutson in Student Central at 771-4324

or campuscorps@msugf.edu. Come and see how much fun Campus Corps and helping the community can be!
