When scanned by a smartphone, the above QR code will take you to MSUGF's Outreach Website!
The MSU - Great Falls campus has started using QR scan codes that allow smartphone users to simple scan the code and the device will do the rest of the work. MSUGF currently uses ScanLife to create specific codes that will automatically direct people to a website, calendar or any site the school designates.
Codes have already been created to direct users to the Outreach Website (shown above) and the Campus Calendar. MSUGF has purchased a total of ten codes, and will be able to track the amount of scans for each code, along with what device was used to scan the code.
The Great Falls Tribune recently interviewed Pam Parsons, Executive Director of Community Relations, on how the school is implementing different QR codes on campus. To read the full article, please click HERE. |
