Greetings!
It is Administrative Professionals week and the MSU - Great Falls Campus would like to thank all of the support staff who work to make the campus a wonderful and inviting place for our students and for the public.  Our staff members keep the College and the entire campus running successfully and efficiently. If you are a staff member at MSU - Great Falls, THANK YOU.

Dental Hygiene Pinning Ceremony
Submitted by Kim Woloszyn
The Dental Hygiene Pinning ceremony is May 7 at 6:00pm in Heritage Hall.  The invitations are limited as many students want to bring as many family members as possible. The students receive awards, state the DH Oath, and become pinned. This event is student driven - the program and decorations are designed by them.
Open Forum: Wind Turbine
The public is invited to an informal presentation and question/answer session regarding the new 50kW wind turbine that was recently installed at the College. The event is in response to the high level of community interest in the turbine and upcoming educational opportunities in sustainable energy to be offered through the Montana University System, including MSU-Great Falls. It will be held on Wednesday, April 21st at 3:00 pm in Room G45/6 at the MSU - Great Falls Campus, 2100 16th Avenue South.

The manufacturer of the turbine, Endurance Wind Power , will provide information about their company and specific information about this turbine. ThinkOne Construction Management will provide a brief presentation on construction and installation of the turbine and tower. MSU - Great Falls Dean Joe Schaffer and Wind Montana Project Manager, Mel Lehman, will give an overview of the project to this point and plans for the future. Information about the Sustainable Energy Technician programs being proposed to the Montana Board of Regents at their May meeting will be shared with attendees. The event is free and open to the public.

Donate Life Today Month
Submitted by Kelli Englehardt
April is Donate Life Today Month, and the campus is looking for your help! Montana Campus Corps is hosting, and partnering with the Governor's Office of Community Service, for a competition pitting all 19 campuses across Montana against each other for the title, trophy, and distinction of the campus with the "most new registrants". A $500 prize will be given to the campus for a donation to a local charity. We will only compete against those campuses which are similar in size to us. Let's even try to beat those large Montana campuses!

Please log in to www.donatelifetoday.com/students and click "I need to register" under the "I Love Organ Donors" button. The registration form will allow you to choose Montana State University Great Falls COT as your school from the "I am participating in a Donor Registry Challenge/Event" drop down box. This will allow your registration to be counted in our total number.

If you have already registered, but know others that have not, please direct them to the link above. This is a great cause, and you could potentially save a life! All help is greatly appreciated!

For more information, please contact Kelli Engelhardt at 771-4334 or kengelhardt@msugf.edu.
