Nurture Expertise    

 

We continue to add people with clinical and healthcare industry expertise to the Nurture team.

 

We have new Area Healthcare Managers, in New England, Atlanta, and Michigan-Kentucky- Indiana, who will help us grow the business, as well as a dedicated sales leader for healthcare GPOs and a sales leader focusing on the A&D community.  

 

The backbone of Nurture is our commitment to research and being an insight-led company - you will continue to see insights differentiate us in the marketplace through the products and experiences we develop together. 



 


 
Quality Improvements

 

We strive to make healthcare solutions that are of the highest quality. For that reason, we are constantly working to improve our current offering, to ensure they are best-in-class.
 

During the past year, we have made multiple improvements in the overall quality of our products - here are some highlights:

 

For the Mineral and Mitra recliners, we changed the actuation systems - it is now easier to activate, and a much more reliable, durable solution.

 

For the Xtenz sleeper, we redesigned the locking mechanism that holds the sleeper in the closed position. This upgrade helps prevent looseness when locked and allows the unit to close easier with thick textiles.

 

For the Sieste recliner, we improved the robustness of the caster attachment.

 

Consistency of process has helped us to make these positive changes, and we seek to improve even more in the coming year.

Nurture: 2012 and Beyond 

As the fiscal year comes to a close this week, we at Nurture wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your partnership with us in bringing high quality, insight-led products to the healthcare industry. When we look at the upcoming fiscal year, we see lots of reason for excitement.
 
Nurture is enjoying tremendous sales growth, thanks in large part to our dealers. We are seeing significant growth in many areas of our business. We are up over 20 percent in North America. We have doubled our business with key accounts like Kaiser Permanente and the Department of Veterans Affairs and we have seen significant growth in Canada. The list goes on.

The core group of research-based products developed by Nurture will grow by 100 percent again this year. This growth will be led by Empath, a best-in-class recliner that we are very excited about and have great confidence in.

Empath: An Insight-led Product

 

 

 

 

Empath is a product we are extremely excited about, and from feedback received so far, you are, too! This is a new insight-based product that we expect to become one of our most successful products ever - one that will lead to even greater strides in growing both our business and yours.

 

Empath fills a big need for Nurture - patient seating, particularly in the patient room. When faced with this request from our dealers, we did not hesitate. We faced the problem head-on, and over 2,000 hours of research and observation later, we came up with Empath, an insight-led, game-changing patient seating solution.

 

We studied the relationship between caregivers and patients and discovered that a problem area in patient care is the bed-to-chair transfer. It is dangerous not only for the patient but for the caregiver as well. Empath, with its central locking casters, dual flip down arms, and holistic, integrated design, solves for these problems, and provides a safe, high-quality solution for the patient room.
