Northwestern Memorial Recliner Win
Check out a recent Nurture success story - an order of 505 Mineral recliners from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Evanston, IL. Working against a very tight schedule and needing to provide a specifically modified product, this project required a heroic effort from Area Healthcare Manager Ryan Grote and the Nurture team in Grand Rapids. "We committed and made it happen," said Grote. "Our solutions fulfillment team (SFT) played a key role in helping us meet this deadline. They worked night and day with the manufacturing facility to make sure that it really did happen. SFT had their work cut out for them and they came through with flying colors".
Northwestern reported appreciating Nurture's responsiveness and flexibility - the whole Nurture team came together to make this first clinical sale to Northwestern Memorial a great success.

New Faces at Nurture: Bob Thomson
Bob Thomson is an Area Healthcare Manager in Southern California. He recently joined Nurture from Herman Miller Healthcare. Prior to joining Nurture, he had various sales and marketing positions over his 28 year healthcare career with Johnson & Johnson, General Electric Healthcare, Pyxis Corporation and McKesson Corporation. When asked what prompted his switch to Nurture, Bob replied, "I was not looking to make a change, however a friend strongly urged me to interview for my current position. Once I started the process beginning with Benjamin Pratt, I really felt a good fit. It has been a great ride so far. There is a real commitment from Nurture management to drive new business and help the customer creatively solve their business issues. We have some exciting new products and other products in development. There is a real sense of collaboration with the Steelcase, Inc. team in Southern California which makes it fun to get out and get it done every day". Bob has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. Over his career, Bob has worked on various projects with Emory University Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Kaiser Foundation Healthcare, Veterans Health System, The Department of Defense and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and one of his goals at Nurture is to help dealers grow their healthcare business and help deliver new opportunities every day. "I tell them that I will only be successful if they are successful, so my #1 goal is to help them, because we cannot do it alone", Bob said. Born outside of NYC, Bob grew up in Toronto, Ontario. He currently lives in Thousand Oaks, CA with his wife Tina who is a registered nurse and their sons Rob and Michael. In his spare time he is a youth soccer referee and enjoys skiing and running. He is a member of Red Sox nation, despite having grown up in New York, thanks in part to his family's Massachusetts roots. He never held a grudge against Bill Buckner and still doesn't care for Bucky Dent. Thanks Bob, welcome to the Nurture team!
