Nurture Wordle

Wordle is an application that creates 'word clouds' out of a body of text. Greater prominence is given to
words that appear most frequently. This image was created based on the text of the Nurture.com website. The Nurture Wordle can be a great graphic to print out and display, to show what Nurture truly is all about. The biggest words in the Nurture Wordle are "patient" and "insight", illustrating Nurture's main focus - an insight driven approach to patient care.

EMR Use to Increase Among Doctors

According to a recent report from Accenture, 58% of US doctors not currently using EMR plan to purchase an EMR system in the next two years. Presently, just 6% of US based physicians use a fully functioning system. Additionally, 90% of current EMR users believe their system has brought value to their practice.

Cancer Center in Minnesota Is Patient and Environmentally Friendly

 Frauenshuh Center

Minneapolis, MN - The Park Nicollet Frauenshuh Cancer Center opened in July 2009, and was designed to provide the most comfortable and healing environment possible for their patients. Their cancer care model is centered on bringing all services to the patient, which allows the patient to stay in their room for all nurse and doctor visits, lab draws and treatment. The client specified Opus modular casegoods for the walls in the private infusion rooms, along with Details Series 7 tables, and Answer in the fast track infusion area.

Nurture Area Healthcare Manager Mark Harrison worked closely with Laurie Pepper of General Office Products to provide this solution for the Frauenshuh Center. They planned the project out for over a year, and provided two separate mock-ups for the client before receiving the go-ahead. In addition to outfitting the patient rooms, Montage modular solutions with custom cut fusion panels were used for the caregiver stations. Also, a custom medical supply cart for the caregivers was developed. Park Nicollet used LEED based construction standards to provide an environmentally sustainable facility. The ability to utilize Nurture's Cradle to Cradle Certified products helped the new facility stay true to their environmental bona fides.
